Third Senior Coach announced within a week as pedigree domestic coach Troy Culley is a lock!

Red Star Basketball Camp UK is delighted to announce that Myerscough Basketball Academy Coach, and consistently positive Great Britain National Team force, Troy Culley has committed to our 2024 camp.

Coach Culley is one of the highest quality coaches in the domestic game and brings with him his impressive resumé in both team and player development. Continuing his more than ten year association with Coach Newby, which began as an intern on the legendary Five-Star Basketball Camps in Leeds, Coach Culley has become one of the most sought-after young coaches in the country, consistently acruing credibility with his involvemnt in both the domestic performance pathway, and honing his craft with the completion of the FIBA FECC qualifaction. Most recently he has also qualified as a graduate of the Euroleague Head Coaches Board.

Camp Director Matt Newby was complimentary of the path that Coach Culley has forged over the last ten years:

Ahead of a sold out, record-breaking camp in 2024, Coach Culley is looking forward to joining us in Leeds:

"I'm thrilled to be returning to camp this summer, a place I've always appreciated for working with both seasoned and emerging coaches. For me it is a proven ground for players to maximise their off-season development and this year will be no different. However, this year is particularly special as it not only allows me to give back to Matt Newby for his invaluable mentorship over the years, but marks a decade since I was given my first opportunity to work one of his camps in Five Star. It is a genuine honour to continue to contribute to the legacy he's built."
